Children’s
Lego Club
Mondays from 1-4 PM in the Parlin Library Children’s Department
You love to build with Legos, we love to see what you build! We’ll have all kinds of awesome building materials set out for you. Let the library staff know if you want to display any finished creations! This two hour drop-in program is all ages, but kids under 6 must be accompanied by a grown-up that’s willing to play along.
Story Time with Vera
Tuesdays at 12 PM in the Parlin Library Children’s Room & Thursdays at 12 PM in the Shute Library Children’s Room
Join Vera for a fun and engaging children’s story time! This program is funded by the Coordinated Family and Community Engagement Grant by the Department of Early Education and Care.
Drama Class
Wednesdays at 3 pm in the Parlin Library Children’s Department
Do you have a drama queen or king at home? Drama class is the perfect opportunity for your child to put those acting skills to use with our drama coach! No registration required. Suggested ages 6-14.
Parlin Nintendo Switch Games
Weekdays from 2-4 pm in the Parlin Library Meeting Room, unless another program is scheduled at that time
Play on our Switch! Bring your own games, or borrow the ones in our collection and play with friends! No registration required.
Parlin Children’s Crafts
Thursdays at 2 pm in the Parlin Library Children’s Department
Join Gail for the craft of the week! Upcoming crafts include decorating your own miniature dog plushie on July 14, making a mermaid on July 21, and making fuzzy fish on July 28. Recommended ages 4-12. Register in person or via phone.
Adult’s
Connolly Center Book Group
2nd Thursday of the month, 12 PM at the Connolly Center (90 Chelsea Street, Everett)
Join Kathleen, our Adult Services Librarian for a discussion on the group’s most recent pick. Our next discussion will be on Laura Dave’s The Last Thing He Told Me on Thursday, July 14. See Kathleen during the Traveling Library for copies of the book being discussed, or call the Parlin or Shute Libraries.
