Create Your Own Mosaic Coasters (October 29th)
Follow along with our super talented Branch Librarian, Trisha To, to create your very own mosaic coaster! Sign up today by calling (617-394-2308) or emailing (ShuteInfo@Noblenet.org). Those who sign up will have all materials needed to complete the project provided to them for free for pickup at the Shute Library. The video will be released on the Library’s Facebook page so you can craft at your convenience.
The Jaguar and the Boy – STEM Program (May 18 via Zoom)
Come join Everett Public Libraries at 11am May 18th for this special STEM Story Time! The Boy and the Jaguar story takes place in the Brazillian Amazon Rainforest. Children will learn ways animals adapt in the rainforest habitat. They will also be taught how to sing a line of an original song by Marcia Kambeba in Omangua- the language of the Ticune tribe!
Recommended for ages 4 to 7 years old. Program will last 45 minutes followed by a Q&A. Sign up by calling 617-394-2300 or emailing us at parlininfo@noblenet.org.
Wild About Turtles (May 26 via Zoom)
Come Join Everett Public Libraries and learn from “The Turtle Lady” about a sweet Russian Tortoise!
What do turtles eat?
Do turtles have teeth?
Why do turtles have hard shells?
Learn all the answers to these questions and more!
Kit includes:
-Playdough
-Beads
Max of 25 participants. Recommended for ages 3-10. Sign up by calling 617-394-2300 or emailing us at parlininfo@noblenet.org.
Kit pickup is Wednesday 5/18 to 5/25 at Parlin at the lower entrance. Call ahead, ring the bell, or knock to have your kit brought out to you. If you would like to pick up your kit at Shute, let us know and the library will try to make accommodations.
The History of Women in Country Music: 1920-1960
Join the Retro Polatin Duo for an informative and fun live concert performance in the Parlin Library Courtyard on Thursday, May 20th @ 7:00PM.
This concert will be free for anybody interested in attending.

Everett Immigrant Puppet Shows (AVAILABLE TO VIEW NOW!)
Dora Kalajian Tevan, the Founder and Director of the Ethnic Arts Center, will highlight a native folktale for each of Everett’s 10 most populous nationalities. These nationalities are Italy/Sicily, Ireland, Portugal, Haiti, Brazil, Columbia, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Mexico & Guatemala, and Vietnam.
This wonderful program is supported by a grant from the Everett Cultural Council, a local agency, which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
