How Do I Get a Library Card?
Having a library card will allow you to bring the library’s materials home, give you access to our online learning resources, and more. A library card is totally free, and anyone can get one! All you need is a form of photo I.D. and proof of address.
Acceptable forms of I.D. include:
- Driver’s License
- Passport
- State I.D.
Proof of address includes:
- Utility bill
- Check from your bank
- Mail bearing your name
- Driver’s license with current address
If you are under 18 years old and you go to school in Everett, you can show us one of the following to get your library card:
- School I.D.
- School uniform
- School planner
- Report card
- School email with your full name
- Online school profile
If you go to school outside of Everett, you’ll need to show us a proof of address. If you do not have one of the above items, bring your parent or guardian and their I.D. and proof of address.
*If you cannot provide a proof of address, please ask your librarian about a Local Use Only card.
Get an eCard
An eCard is a NOBLE library card that you can register for online to access electronic materials such as ebooks, audiobooks, magazines, and databases. The eCard is for patrons who do not already have a NOBLE library card and may be upgraded to a physical library card with borrowing privileges by visiting your local library.
Contact us if you are not eligible to register online or to renew an expired card.
NOBLE Library Patrons
Patrons of the Everett Public Libraries have access to all of the libraries within the North of Boston Library Exchange (NOBLE). We also welcome any patrons of other NOBLE libraries to visit us! If you’re not sure if your library is a member of the NOBLE Network, check the list below.
